Mr Ramesh Balasubramanian
Director, Apollo CBCC Cancer Care

Mr Ramesh Balasubramanian is a graduate in Management with specialisation in Labour Laws & Industrial Relations. He has been in Hospital Industry for over 23 years and have worked with premiere institutions such as Aditya Birla Healthcare, Apollo Hospitals before joining Comprehensive Blood & Cancer Centers in the year 2008.


Mr B Ramesh is known for his rich business acumen in various spectrums of Healthcare Management and delivery. Under an able leadership of Mr B Ramesh, Apollo CBCC Cancer Care is all set to create a new milestone in Oncology Services in Gujarat State.

General Nair is an alumnus of Armed Forces Medical College and was commissioned into the Army Medical Corps in Mar 1978. He is a Haematologist of international repute and a recognized teacher and examiner at post doctoral level. During his illustrious career of 38 years in Armed Forces Medical Services, he has held various key clinical and administrative appointments. He has held the appointment of Professor & HoD, Department of Internal Medicine, Armed Forces Medical College (AFMC), Pune & Army Hospital (Research & Referral). The General Nair is a keen academician and an avid researcher. He has held the appointments of Dean, Army College of Medical Sciences, New Delhi and Dean & Deputy Commandant of AFMC, Pune. Lt Gen Velu Nair has the unique distinction of having held the key appointments of DGSM (Army and Navy), Senior Consultant (Medicine) in DGAFMS and Deputy Chief, Integrated Defence Staff (Med) prior to taking over his present appointment.


Dr Rajesh Kamran
CEO, Apollo Hospitals, Ahmedabad

Dr. Rajesh has around 27 years of experience in the Indian Army and has an in­depth h understanding of health care needs & development off health system projects.

Prior to joining Apollo Group, he anchored the role of Major General Medical (Central and Eastern Command) of the Army and was responsible for the quality assurance and deployment of Healthcare resources to a sector comprising of Seven North Eastern States, West Bengal and Sikkim with over 40 Medical Establishments. He was also a member of a study group to recommend proposals for upgrading and modernizing Healthcare Infrastructure of the Armed Forces Medical Services (AFMS).

Dr. Rajesh has done his MBBS from GMC, Bhopal University and Masters in Hospital Administration from AIIMS, New Delhi and Diploma in General Management from IGNOU, New Delhi.


Dr. Abhijat Sheth
Director Medical Services, Apollo Hospitals, Ahmedabad

Dr. Abhijat Sheth has post-graduation in Cardiothoracic Surgery from Sheth KM School of Postgraduate Medicine and Research, Ahmedabad. He extensively worked as an academician at various medical colleges in Ahmedabad. In 1998, he went to UK for further training in Cardiothoracic Surgery where he worked as a Senior House Officer and Registrar in Cardiothoracic Surgery at Freeman Hospital, Newcastle. He obtained his FRCS in General Surgery from the Royal College of Surgeons and Physicians of Glasgow in 2000. Since 2001 his main place of work has been in the Cardiothoracic Department of St George’s Hospital NHS Trust in London where he has worked with the eminent cardiothoracic consultant Professor Brendan P Madden.


Dr. Sheth has a long and distinguished career in adult Cardiothoracic Surgery, Cardiothoracic Research and academia initially in India and then extensively in the UK. He published more than 20 peer reviewed publications in prestigious journals e.g. Annals of Thoracic Surgery, 40 abstract presentations and 40 conference presentations at the British Thoracic Society, World Congress of Bronchology, European Respiratory Society and American Thoracic Society. His major research and publications are in the fields of large airway intervention and Sildenafil therapy for patients with pulmonary hypertension. In his 10 years of academic career at St. George’s Hospital, he has successfully guided a number of specialist registrars in developing competency with endobronchial intervention, pulmonary artery catheterisation and management of patients with secondary pulmonary hypertension.


Dr. Sheth has undertaken his MD (Research) degree from London University under supervision of Professor Brendan P Madden and MBA (Health Executive) from Keele University, Manchester.


Mr Sameer Parikh

Mr Sameer Parikh is a Chartered Accountant with over 25 years of experience. Mr Parikh has in-depth knowledge of all the financial activities such as IPOs, Wealth Management, Auditing, Taxation, Financial Reporting and may others.


Mr Sameer Parikh has been associated with the CBCC Group since 2008 and helped the company grow drastically through all these years.


Mr Deepak Tharanee

Mr. Deepak S. Tharanee is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and a meritorious Passed Finalist of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA), United Kingdom. He has over two decades of experience in the fields of Finance, Financial Reporting, Taxation, Advanced Management Accounting and has worked with reputed companies such as Orix Auto Infrastructure Services Ltd. (an erstwhile IL&FS Group Company), Hinduja Group of companies, Tata Motors Limited. He has worked in various sectors such as Finance (Non Banking Finance Company), Healthcare, Corporate Strategy and Manufacturing.
